Your environment impacts your performance, and having a supportive circle around you helps you to feel a sense of belonging, and also to develop your skills in a motivated and efficient manner. In this episode of Mind Set Win, Olympic Freestyle BMX athlete Nikita Ducarroz applies this idea to her own life, and elaborates on how it has helped her evolve and improve throughout her career as an athlete. - Think of a time where you felt really supported. Who was there? Where was it?
- Dive into this moment and think about how you felt. Why did you feel supported?
- Now think of a moment that recently happened, like band practice or a dinner with your friends.
- Contrast these two moments. Why did you feel more supported in one situation? What were the differences?
- Finally, think about who may be able to help you and who you can share this information with.
