22 APR 2024 · ज़िंदगी के सफर में, कभी-कभी हमें कुछ पल ऐसे मिलते हैं जो दिल को छू जाते हैं। तहज़ीब हाफ़ी की शायरी में छुपी हर एक लफ़्ज़, हर एक मिस्रा, एक अनोखी कहानी सुनाता है। वो सफ़ेद शर्ट, वो मुस्कुराहट, वो पहली मुलाक़ात, सब कुछ याद दिलाता है एक बीते हुए ज़माने की।  जैसे "सफ़ेद शर्ट थी तुम सीढ़ियों पे बैठे थे, और मैं क्लास से निकली मुस्कुराहटे हुए" उस लम्हे में जैसे वक़्त थम गया था, और हर इशारे में तुम्हारा साथ महसूस होता था। और फिर वो चुप रहना, वो गुस्सा भरा लहज़ा, वो आवाज़ें, सब कुछ याद आता है। मोहब्बत में लड़ना, और फिर उस लड़ाई में खो देना, ये भी एक अनोखा एहसास है। हर उस शख़्स का चुप रहना, जो ज़िंदगी में आए और दिल को छू गए, याद आता है। "तू किसी और ही दुनिया में मिली थी मुझ से" जिंदगी में जो कुछ भी मिला, या खो दिया, ये नज़्म हमें याद दिलाता है कि हर रिश्ता, हर एहसास, कुछ ख़ास होता है। हर लफ़्ज़, हर शेर, एक अनमोल कहानी है जो ज़िंदगी को और भी रंगीन बनाती है। आशा है आपको यह पाठ पसंद आएगा। 

20 APR 2024 · प्रेम करना और करते रहना एक चुनाव है जो मात्र एक संयोग भर नहीं है। और अगर बात किसी एक से ही प्रेम करे जाने की हो, तो यह और भी भयावह है - नहीं प्रेम नहीं, बल्कि प्रियतम के इंतेजार में बैठी आँखें। वो आँखें कोई पर्वत लील लेना चाहती हैं या कोई नदी सुखा देना, वे चाहती हैं की कोई उनके प्रयास को स्वीकृति भर दे दे। स्वीकृति प्रेम की नहीं- स्वीकृति इंतेजार की।  ऐसे ही इंतेजार की कहानी है अमृता और साहिर की। साहिर मेरे महबूब शायरों में से एक हैं, और गीतकार तो ऐसे की मानो दिल उड़ेल देने को जी चाहे। पर साहिर सिर्फ मेरे नहीं, आपके भी हैं - फिर चाहे वो "जाने वो कैसे लोग थे" या "मैं पल दो पल का शायर";"कभी कभी मेरे दिल में खयाल आता है"  या फिर "मैं जिंदगी का साथ निभाता चला गया"। साहिर हमेशा अपनी लेखनी से आश्चर्यचकित करते रहे हैं- मोहब्बत की निशानी कहे जाने वाले ताज महल को गरीबों की मोहब्बत का मजाक उड़ाने का दोषी करार देना सिर्फ साहिर ही कर सकते थे।  साहिर और अमृता की प्रेम कहानी भले ही कभी परवान न चढ़ सकी पर एक अमर गाथा बनकर रह गई।  मुझे अमृता के लिखे से ज्यादा प्रेम उनके जीये जाने से था- साहिर की जलायी जा चुकी सिगरेट के टुकरों को अपने हाथ में ले सुलगाना जैसे मानो साहिर का हाथ थामे हो।  अमृता प्रीतम की जीवनी "रसीदी टिकट" एक अत्यंत मूल्यवान पुस्तक है, एक बेबाक स्त्री जो कविताओं और कहानियों में क्रांति की लौ भरती है, उसे पढ़ा जाना किसी ज्वाला को टटोलना है। उनकी रसीदी टिकट का ही एक यह पाठ मेरी आवाज में आपके सामने प्रस्तुत है, आशा है आपको पसंद आएगा। ~ मयंक  _______________________________________________________________________________ Loving and continuing to love is a choice that is not merely a coincidence. And if it's about loving only one person, then it's even more frightening - not the absence of love, but the eyes waiting for the beloved. Those eyes want to take on a mountain or dry up a river; they want someone to fill their efforts with approval. It's not approval of love but approval of waiting. Such is the story of Amrita and Sahir. Sahir is one of my beloved poets, and his lyrics have the power to stir hearts. But Sahir belongs not just to me but to you too - whether it's 'Jaane Woh Kaise Log The' or 'Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hoon' or 'Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein' or 'Main Zindagi Ka Saath Nibhata Chala Gaya.' Sahir always amazed with his writing - only Sahir could declare the Taj Mahal, a symbol of love, guilty of mocking the love of the poor. The love story of Sahir and Amrita may not have reached great heights, but it became an immortal story. I found more love in knowing Amrita than in her writings - when she used to hold Sahir's extinguished cigarette in her hand, as if she was holding Sahir's hand. Amrita Pritam's biography 'Raseedi Ticket' is a priceless book, an honest woman who ignites revolutions in poems and stories; reading her is like exploring a flame.
