Who is Chris Smith?
From Chris: "I'm Chris of the Kris and Kristine Show Podcast. Which you can find at http://www.krisandkristineshow.com. The podcast launched the summer of 2019 with my then girlfriend Kristine. The podcast had no real niche or purpose. We started doing it as something fun on a Saturday night. We talked about a few life experiences and newsworthy articles that interested us. Sometime around Episode 20 we upgraded our equipment which made recording the podcast much easier. Then a few episodes later we had our first remote guest interview. Then shortly later we discovered our now preferred way to host remote interviews - Cleanfeed (http://www.cleanfeed.net). The Kris and Kristine Show began hosting regular guest interviews as part of our podcast episodes. During that time we were getting messages from other podcast shows commenting on how amazing our audio quality was. Especially when we had many different guests on. As I answered their questions about how we created the show with "basic" equipment and made it sound amazing. I had an idea to launch a second podcast all about the behind the scenes of how we made The Kris and Kristine Show. That show is called Podtastic Audio (http://www.podtasticaudio.com). A podcast designed to help out other podcasters that want a good-sounding podcast, but don't have the budget to spend on expensive gear. Podtastic Audio launched the very first episode just after New Year's Day 2021. But it was in response to all the 2020 bad audio podcasts that emerged due to the pandemic lockdown. Podtastic Audio has become a well respected show within the podcast community. The show always ranks very high on GoodPods charts. For many weeks it was ranked #1 in the Education/Courses category. I receive messages from many shows thanking me for my advice. I created this show to help others because I love the audio format. I've been a fan of radio for over 20 years. In addition to the two podcasts, I have also launched my own Radio Station K2 Radio. The station plays my favorite music live 24/7. Along with music we have clips from The Kris and Kristine Show as well as guest appearances. When a guest comes onto K2 Radio I'll have them tell me 3 of their favorite songs. I'll play them live in real time and discuss. I call it K2 Radio Sessions."
