Nl: De zon scheen helder boven Amsterdam.
En: The sun was shining bright over Amsterdam.

Nl: Een meisje, Sophie, zat op haar fiets.
En: A girl, Sophie, was sitting on her bike.

Nl: Ze keek nerveus om haar heen.
En: She looked nervously around her.

Nl: Dit was haar eerste keer.
En: This was her first time.

Nl: Overal zag ze mensen fietsen.
En: Everywhere she looked, she saw people biking.

Nl: Ze slikte, greep haar stuur strak vast en trapte op de pedalen.
En: She swallowed, tightly gripped her handlebars, and pedaled.

Nl: Langzaam begon ze te fietsen.
En: Slowly, she started cycling.

Nl: Heel het centrum van Amsterdam was haar speeltuin.
