En: Beds were disheveled, kitchen utensils floated around, and a pair of old wooden shoes were carelessly lying around.

Nb: Da vennene kom, så de trollsporene.
En: When the friends arrived, they saw the troll tracks.

Nb: "Oh!
En: "Oh!

Nb: Hva skjedde her?
En: What happened here?

Nb: Det ser ut som et troll har vært her," sa Ida.
En: It looks like a troll has been here," said Ida.

En: On their last evening, after their adventure, a big surprise came.

En: When they returned to the cabin, it was filled with strands of hair, footprints, and a mysterious smell.

En: It looks like we have been visited by a troll," said Lars.

Nb: Vennene hans ble redde.
En: His friends became scared.

Nb: Skulle de tro på troll nå?

En: "Meet my new friend Basse," said Lars.

En: His friends couldn't believe it!

Nb: De begynte å le.
En: They started laughing.

Nb: "Du fikk oss," sa Knut.
En: "You got us," said Knut.

Nb: Alle Lo og spiste kake sammen.

En: They agreed that the cabin trip had been unforgettable.

En: Even though the trolls weren't real, they would never forget them.

Nb: Og Lars, trengte ikke å overbevise dem lenger.
En: And Lars didn't need to convince them anymore.

Nb: Han visste at vennene hans aldri ville glemme trollene, eller hytten hans langt der oppe i fjellene.
En: He knew his friends would never forget the trolls, or his cabin up there in the mountains.
