Story Transcript:

Hu: Budapest, a Duna partja.
En: Budapest, by the banks of the Danube.

Hu: Erre a helyre tévedt István, a zavaródott turista.
En: István, the bewildered tourist, found himself in this place by mistake.

Hu: Pihenni vágyott, kikapcsolódva a város zsongásából.
En: He sought to relax, to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Hu: Termálfürdőt keresett, de nem számított a fürdő hagyományos etikettjére.
En: He was looking for a thermal bath, but he disregarded the traditional etiquette of the baths.

Hu: István bolyongott a fürdőcsarnok ragyogó márványpadlóján.
En: István wandered on the shining marble floor of the bathhouse.

Hu: Zsebében a belépőjegy, szemeiben az izgalom tüze égett.
En: In his pocket, he had the entrance ticket, in his eyes burned the fire of excitement.

Hu: A föld alatt megbúvó, régies teremre bukkant, ahol már az ókori rómaiak is megmártóztak a gyógyító vízben.
En: He stumbled upon a hidden ancient chamber underground, where even the ancient Romans used to bathe in the healing waters.

En: The furnishings were marvelous, the walls were adorned with artistic creations around the water, and the faces lurking in the steam reflected traditions and tranquility.

Hu: "- Fiatal ember - mondta Octavian -, van itt egy rituálé, amelyet nem szabad figyelmen kívül hagyni.
En: "- Young man," Octavian said, "there is a ritual here that must not be overlooked.

Hu: Nem szabad csak úgy belemenned a medencébe, mint a többi turista.
En: You cannot just go into the pool like any other tourist.

Hu: Először meg kell jelezned a többieknek, hogy készülsz a medencébe menni.
En: You must first signal to the others that you are about to enter the pool.

Hu: Figyelemmel kísérte a többi fürdőző mozdulatait, bólintott, amikor felvette a kapcsolatot a tekintetükkel, és lassan belépett a meleg vízbe.
En: He observed the movements of the other bathers, nodded when they made eye contact, and slowly stepped into the warm water.

Hu: A fürdőzők elégedetten bólogattak vissza.
En: The bathers nodded back in approval.

En: They no longer looked at him sharply or whispered in unknown words.

En: That evening, as the sun was reflecting in the waters of the Danube, István sat under the bridge absorbing all the beauty of the city.

Hu: A bonyodalom helyett a termálfürdőből az élményeket és a békét hozott magával, és már alig várta, hogy visszatérjen a következő nap.
En: Instead of trouble, the thermal bath brought him experiences and peace, and he could hardly wait to return the next day.
