Cy: Gwenllian oedd y merch mwyaf chwilfrydig yn y pentref ac roedd hi wrth ei bodd gyda phob math o heriau.
En: Gwenllian was the most curious girl in the village and she enjoyed all kinds of challenges.

Cy: Heddiw, roedd ganddi her fawr o flaen ei thraed: dysgu sut i ynganu enw ei phentref, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
En: Today, she had a big challenge in front of her: to learn how to pronounce the name of her village, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Cy: Tra roedd hi'n ymarfer yr enw arall arall, daeth Gwenllian ar draws ffrind iddi, sef bachgen call o'r enw Rhys.
En: While she was practicing the name, Gwenllian ran into a friend of hers, a clever boy named Rhys.

Cy: Rhys oedd gwrando arni gyda gwên.
En: Rhys was listening to her with a smile.

Cy: "Wel, Gwenllian," meddai Rhys, "ti'n ymddangos yn benderfynol iawn heddiw!
En: "Well, Gwenllian," Rhys said, "you seem very determined today!"

Cy: "Gwenllian, a wynebu heriau gyda balchder bob amser, gwenodd yn ôl ac atebodd, "Mae'n rhaid i bawb yn y pentref hwn allu dweud enw'r lle maen nhw'n byw ynddo, ond mae'n hir ac yn anodd!
En: Gwenllian, always facing challenges with pride, smiled back and replied, "Everyone in this village should be able to say the name of the place they live in, but it’s long and difficult!"

Cy: "Penderfynodd Rhys ei helpu.
En: Rhys decided to help her.

Cy: "Gawn ni ei rannu mewn darnau bach," awgrymodd.
En: "Let's break it down into small pieces," he suggested.

Cy: Felly, eisteddodd y ddau wrth ymyl y ffynnon yn y sgwâr pentref a dechrau rhannu'r enw hir yn sillafau.
En: So, the two of them sat by the village well in the square and started breaking the long name into syllables.

Cy: "Llan—vair—pwll—gwyn—gyll," dechreuodd Gwenllian yn araf.
En: "Llan—vair—pwll—gwyn—gyll," Gwenllian slowly started.

Cy: Roedd hi'n ddysgwr cyflym ac roedd Rhys yn ardderchog wrth egluro.
En: She was a quick learner and Rhys was excellent at explaining.

Cy: Ynghyd, ailosodon nhw'r enw drosodd a throsodd, pob tro yn dod yn agosach at y pronnounciad cywir.
En: Together, they repeated the name over and over again, each time coming closer to the correct pronunciation.

Cy: Rhys a ddefnyddiodd driciau doniol i'w helpu'i gofio.
En: Rhys used funny tricks to help her remember.

Cy: Creodd stori byr am bob rhan o'r enw, gwneud i Gwenllian chwerthin ac yn y pen draw, cofio sut i'w ddweud.
En: He created a short story about each part of the name, making Gwenllian laugh and most importantly, remember how to say it.

Cy: Treuliodd y ddau oriau yn y sgwâr, pob un yn ei dro yn profi'i gallu i yngan gorffenedig yr enw.
En: They spent two hours in the square, each time proving their ability to pronounce the name.

Cy: Ar ddiwedd y prynhawn, Gwenllian a gogwyddodd ei phen yn ôl gyda gwen fawr ar ei hwyneb ac adroddodd yr enw cyfan heb gymorth.
En: At the end of the afternoon, Gwenllian threw her head back with a big smile on her face and recited the whole name without any help.

Cy: "Llanfair—pwllgwyngyll—gogerychwyrn—drobwll—llantysilio—gogogoch!
En: "Llanfair—pwllgwyngyll—gogerychwyrn—drobwll—llantysilio—gogogoch!"

Cy: " ebe hi, gan chwerthin o'r llawenydd.
En: she said, laughing with joy.

Cy: Rhys hefyd, a gerddodd ei llaw yn uchel mewn balchder.
En: Rhys also raised his hand proudly.

Cy: "Da iawn, Gwenllian!
En: "Well done, Gwenllian!

Cy: Nawr wyt ti'n siŵr yr expert mwyaf yn y pentref ar enwau hir!
En: Now you are surely the biggest expert in the village on long names!"

Cy: "Dim ond Gwenllian a oedd yn blethu pan oedd yn amser dweud lle'r oedd hi'n byw.
En: Only Gwenllian had tears in her eyes when it was time to say where she lived.

Cy: Nawr, roedd hi'n teimlo hyder yn ei llais, ac roedd hi'n teimlo falch o fod yn rhan o bentref gyda'r enw mor arbennig a hanesyddol.
En: Now, she felt confident in her voice, and she felt proud to be part of a village with such a special and historical name.

Cy: Roedd hi'n profi fod unrhyw her - hyd yn oed yn yngan enw hiraf lle yn y byd - yn gallu cael ei goresgyn gyda chyfeillgarwch a ymroddiad.
En: She proved that any challenge - even in pronouncing the longest name in the world - could be overcome with friendship and dedication.

Cy: Ac felly, wrth i'r haul fachlud ar Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, aeth Gwenllian a Rhys yn ôl i'w cartrefi, yn glir eu llais a llawn balchder o'u pentref unigryw.
En: And so, as the sun set on Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Gwenllian and Rhys returned to their homes, clear in their voices and full of pride in their unique village.
