This #SongOfTheWeek is ‘Somebody I used to know’ by Gotye where the lyrics are very poignant to us all right now. The lyrics ‘No you didn’t have to stoop so low’ are not just about Trump or those American rioters but also about us all trying to behave better as lockdown continues on.
‘Yes Trump will soon be ‘Somebody you used to know’.. but also realise 2020 is in the background now. Look forward. In 6 months the world will look a better place as we all emerge from lockdowns and hope again.
Even those rioters who Trump incited to attack Capitol Hill are singing this part of the song to Trump
‘But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing’
As Trump says that he loves them but takes no responsibility for their actions despite his speech, his lies and continued railing at the election results when we can see they are fair and have seen many recounts.

The second tune is ‘FEEL THE LOVE’ by Rudimental. Across the world everyone was thinking if those protestors had been BlackLivesMatter protesters or have black or brown skin they would have been decimated before they got into Capitol Hill. This racism is so clear but the world can see it an from here we can all keep fighting to respect each other no matter ones gender, sexuality, skin colour or religion.
We all feel love and can help each other turn this poison into medicine, to cure and educate everyones hearts.
