Story Transcript:
Cy: Ar un diwrnod braf yn y gwanwyn, roedd Rhys a Megan yn mynd am dro yng nghastell hynafol Conwy.
En: On a beautiful spring day, Rhys and Megan went for a walk in the ancient castle of Conwy.
Cy: Roedd yr awyr yn las ac roedd blodau gwyllt yn tyfu ar hyd y waliau crin.
En: The sky was blue and wildflowers were growing along the rugged walls.
Cy: Roedd Conwy yn lle hudol, gyda'i waliau mawr carreg a'i thyrau uchel yn edrych allan dros y môr.
En: Conwy was a magical place, with its large stone walls and high towers overlooking the sea.
Cy: Rhys oedd yn cyrraedd y castell gyntaf.
En: Rhys arrived at the castle first.
Cy: Roedd ganddo gôt fflwff ar ei fraich – roedd hi wedi dod yn eithaf oer yn ddisgyn nos.
En: He had a fluffy coat on his shoulders – it had gotten pretty chilly as night fell.
Cy: Pan gyrhaeddodd Megan, dyma fe yn syllu arni gyda gwên fawr ar ei wyneb.
En: When Megan arrived, he looked at her with a big smile on his face.
Cy: Roedd ganddi hi gôt flêr, un mor fluf fel cotyn o hwrdd.
En: She had a bright coat, as fluffy as a cushion.
Cy: Wnaethon nhw gerdded o amgylch y castell, yn siarad am hanes y lle ac yn chwerthin gyda'i gilydd.
En: They walked around the castle, talking about its history and laughing together.
Cy: Ond pan ddaethant at ran o'r castell lle'r oedd y golygfeydd yn fendigedig, aeth Megan i edrych allan o un o'r faneri.
En: But when they reached a part of the castle where the views were stunning, Megan went to look out from one of the windows.
Cy: Roedd hi wedi tynnu ei chôt fflwff i ddefnyddio fel mat i eistedd arno, ac roedd hi wedi'i gadael yn y gangell tra agos at y mur.
En: She had taken off her fluffy coat to use as a seat cushion, and had left it in the corner close to the wall.
Cy: Pan drodd Rhys nôl i Megan, gwelodd yn sydyn fod y cot flêr wedi diflannu.
En: When Rhys turned back to Megan, he suddenly saw that the fluffy coat had disappeared.
Cy: Chwilio a chwilio wnaeth e... hyd nes iddo weld, ychydig i ffwrdd, rywbeth mawr, gwyn, a flwff yn symud yn y glaswellt.
En: He searched and searched... until he saw, a little way off, something big, white, and fluffy moving in the tall grass.
Cy: Roedd Rhys yn siŵr ei fod wedi gweld mwgwd Megan yn disgyn ar fflwff, ac felly rhedodd ar draws y glaswellt tuag ato, en aid o'i chymryd yn ôl.
En: Rhys was sure he had seen a glimpse of Megan falling onto the fluff, so he ran through the tall grass towards it, trying to take it back.
Cy: Ond pan gyrhaeddodd y 'gôt', roedd yn cael sioc enfawr!
En: But when he reached the 'coat', he got a huge shock!
Cy: Yn ei flaenau nid oedd gôt Megan o gwbl, ond hwrdd gwyn llwglyd!
En: In front of him, there was no coat of Megan at all, but a white fluffy sheep!
Cy: Roedd yn sefyll yno yn tawel, yn bwyta'i bryd gyda coten hyfryd, fflwff ac i gyd.
En: It stood there calmly, eating its meal with all its lovely fluffy fleece.
Cy: Chwarddodd Rhys wrth sylweddoli ei gamgymeriad doniol.
En: Rhys chuckled realizing his funny mistake.
Cy: Pan ddychwelodd yn ôl i Megan, yn dal i chwerthin, roedd hi wedi sylweddoli'r hyn a ddigwyddodd ac roedd y ddau yn chwerthin nes eu bod yn cael poen yn eu boliau.
En: When he returned to Megan, still laughing, she had realized what had happened and they both laughed until their stomachs hurt.
Cy: Roedd hi'n stori i'w hadrodd dro ar ôl tro.
En: It was a story to be told time and time again.
Cy: O hynny ymlaen, bob tro y byddent yn pasio castell Conwy gyda'i gilydd, byddai Rhys yn rhoi bysedd Megan yn ei côt fflwff i gadw'n ddiogel, er mwyn iddyn nhw beidio â chael eu drysu â hwrdd arall eto!
En: From then on, whenever they would visit Conwy castle together, Rhys would put pebbles in Megan's fluffy coat to keep it safe, so they wouldn't get it confused with another sheep again!
Cy: Ac felly, daeth y diwrnod gyda'r gamgymeriad diddorol hwnnw yn chwerthinllyd a cherdded ymysg y muriau hanesyddol yn un o'u hoff atgofion gyda'i gilydd.
En: And so, the day with that amusing mistake became a joyful and memorable walk among the historical walls, one of their favorite memories together.
