Ca: Sota un cel blau intens, en una aclaparadora però agradable tarda d'estiu a Barcelona, tres amics seleccionats per la vida - Marta, Jordi i Laia - s'asseien en una terrassa assolellada al barri de Gràcia.
En: Under an intense blue sky, on an overwhelming yet pleasant summer afternoon in Barcelona, three friends handpicked by life - Marta, Jordi, and Laia - sat on a sunny terrace in the Gràcia neighborhood.

Ca: Al fons, les notes alegres d'una guitarra en directe donaven ànima a l'ambient càlid i tranquil.

Ca: Mentre gaudien d'un refrescant vermut amb un plat d'olives i musclos a la planxa, una discussió amistosa va començar a prendre forma.

Ca: - Estic convençuda, -va començar Marta, amb una seguretat picant-, que ningú no pot fer una paella millor que jo.

Ca: Ui, Marta, no siguis tan segura. Jo faig la millor paella que pots tastar! - va réplicar Jordi, rient amb la boca plena d'oliva.

Ca: La rebutjada quenaire valenciana va provocar riures i més debat.

Ca: Van discutir sobre la proporció d'arròs a aigua, sobre la importància del sofregit i sobre si la veritable paella ha de portar o no peix.

Ca: Parlaven sense neguits, sentint l'aroma de les flors i el vermell intens de la sangria sota el sol de Barcelona.

Ca: Però després de parlar, riure i discutir durant una estona, ningú va aconseguir convèncer a ningú. Cadascun d'ells es pensava que feia la millor paella.

Ca: La realitat era que no importava qui guanyés aquesta petita contesa, perquè el que realment importava era la companyia, l'amistat i les risades que compartien aquella tarda d'estiu.
En: The reality was that it didn't matter who won this small contest because what really mattered was the company, the friendship, and the laughter they shared that summer afternoon.

Ca: A prop del vespre, van alçar les seves copes enmig d'un aplaudiment alegre.

Ca: Estaven d'acord en una cosa: la millor paella és la que gaudeixes amb els teus millors amics.

Ca: El sol de Barcelona es va pondre, pintant el cel amb bonics tons de taronja i rosa, mentre ells seguien parlant, riure i gaudint del seu moment, en aquella terrassa assolellada de Gràcia.
