Story Transcript:

Uk: У Львові, на мальовничих вулочках, стояв чарівний кишеньковий кафе "Аромат Львова".
En: In Lviv, on picturesque streets, stood a charming pocket cafe called "Aroma of Lviv".

Uk: Цього теплого дня, сонце сяяло, голубів щебет відлунював по вулиці.
En: On this warm day, the sun was shining, and the chirping of bluebirds echoed through the street.

Uk: Серед місцевих львів'ян та численних туристів, в кафе непомітно ввійшов чоловік, Іван, незрівнянно красивий, але дещо розсіяний.
En: Among the local Lvivians and numerous tourists, a man named Ivan, incomparably beautiful but somewhat absent-minded, quietly entered the cafe.

Uk: Коли він відкрив двері кафе, його серце билося в такт запашному молотому каві, що наповнила кожен кутик приміщення.
En: When he opened the cafe door, his heart beat in time with the aroma of freshly ground coffee that filled every corner of the room.

Uk: Позаду стійки кафе стояла Оксана, крутячи в руках темно-фіолетовий кавун, з виглядом, ніби цілий світ у її долонях.
En: Behind the cafe counter stood Oksana, twirling a dark purple apron in her hands, looking as if she held the whole world in her palms.

Uk: Іван вирішив замовити собі каву.
En: Ivan decided to order coffee for himself.

Uk: Але його розсіяні думки зіграли з ним паскудний жарт.
En: But his absent-minded thoughts played a cruel joke on him.

Uk: Він, не замислюючись, вказав Оксані на меню і сказав: "Буду мати десять з того, будь ласка!"
En: Without thinking, he pointed to the menu and said to Oksana, "I'll have ten of those, please!"

Uk: Він мав на увазі круасан, на який вказував, але Оксана подивилася на нижче розташовану позицію меню – італійську каву.
En: He meant to order a croissant, but Oksana looked at the lower position on the menu - Italian coffee.

Uk: Незабаром Іван з подивом дивився, як Оксана вступає до процесу приготування десяти чашок кави.
En: Soon Ivan watched in astonishment as Oksana began the process of making ten cups of coffee.

Uk: Інші відвідувачі зі сміхом дивились на його здивоване обличчя.
En: Other cafe visitors laughed as they saw his surprised face.

Uk: Від хвилювання в Івана потіли долоні.
En: Sweat formed on Ivan's palms from nervousness.

Uk: Замість того, щоб виправити помилку, він тихо сидів, не відводячи погляду від Оксани і десяти чарівних чашок кави.
En: Instead of correcting his mistake, he quietly sat there, not taking his eyes off Oksana and the ten magical cups of coffee.

Uk: Коли до нього дійшла перша чашка, він м'яко промовив: "Я здається, замовив лише одну каву".
En: When the first cup reached him, he softly said, "I think I ordered just one coffee."

Uk: Спалахуйте усмішки на обличчях відвідувачів кафе став ще яскравішим.
En: The smiles on the faces of cafe visitors brightened even more.

Uk: Оксана, красуючись червоніллям на своєму обличчі, почала без слов забирати дев'ять зайвих чашок кави.
En: Blushing, Oksana started taking away the nine extra cups of coffee without saying a word.

Uk: На завершення, з повагою, Іван сказав: "Може, усі ці кави я замовлю поступово, за цей тиждень?"
En: Finally, with respect, Ivan said, "Maybe I'll order all these coffees gradually over this week?"

Uk: Оксана зі смішком відповіла: "Або ж, ви можете запросити до кафе дев'ять друзів. Будь-який час!"
En: Oksana replied with a smile, "Or you can invite nine friends to the cafe. Anytime!"

Uk: На це Іван тільки сміхнувся.
En: Ivan could only chuckle at that.
