Story Transcript:

El: Ο βραδινός άνεμος ανασήκωνε τις χρωματιστές γιρλάντες που κρέμονταν πάνω από τον άλσος της παραδοσιακής ελληνικής ταβέρνας.
En: The evening wind lifted the colorful garlands that hung above the grove of the traditional Greek taverna.

El: "Η Λαμπρή Νότα" ήταν το κοσμήμα της μικρής πλατείας του χωριού.
En: "Lambri Nota" was the jewel of the small village square.

El: Καθώς η βαριά πόρτα της ταβέρνας άνοιγε, οι μυρωδιές της ανάμιξης των ελαφριά καπνισμένων κρέατων και των ριζωτών έφθαναν στη μύτη του Γιώργου.
En: As the heavy door of the taverna opened, the scents of lightly smoked meats and roasted roots reached Giorgos' nose.

El: Ο Γιώργος ήταν καλός, γενναιόδωρος και αγαπητός από όλους στο χωριό.
En: Giorgos was kind, generous, and loved by everyone in the village.
