Story Transcript:
Cy: Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod braf yn Conwy.
En: It was a lovely day in Conwy.
Cy: Yn y cysgodion mawr o gastell Conwy, roedd pawb yn paratoi ar gyfer y ffair flynyddol.
En: In the great shadow of Conwy Castle, everyone was getting ready for the annual fair.
Cy: Eleri, merch ifanc gyda chalon hapus, oedd yn gyfrifol am ddod â'i defaid i'w harddangos.
En: Eleri, a young girl with a happy heart, was responsible for bringing her sheep to show.
Cy: Yn anffodus, roedd ganddi gymysgedd fach.
En: Unfortunately, she had a small mix-up.
Cy: Wrth gerdded trwy'r caeau, gwelodd dafad yn crwydro'n rhydd.
En: As she walked through the fields, she saw a sheep wandering freely.
Cy: Heb edrych yn ofalus, meddyliai'r dafad oedd ei hun.
En: Without looking carefully, the sheep thought it was by itself.
Cy: Felly, daliodd hi'r dafad ac aeth â hi i'r ffair, yn meddwl ei bod hi'n gwneud peth da.
En: So, she caught the sheep and took it to the fair, thinking she was doing a good thing.
Cy: Dafydd, ffermwr ifanc doniol oedd yn byw ger y castell, ddarganfu yn fuan fod un o'i ddefaid wedi diflannu.
En: Dafydd, a young and funny farmer living near the castle, soon discovered that one of his sheep had disappeared.
Cy: Pan glywodd sŵn ffair yn y pellter, gwyddai yn syth lle i fynd.
En: When he heard the fair commotion in the distance, he immediately knew where to go.
Cy: Yn y ffair, roedd pawb yn chwerthin a mwynhau, heblaw am Eleri a Dafydd.
En: At the fair, everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves, except for Eleri and Dafydd.
Cy: Pan welodd Dafydd ei dafad gyda Eleri, dechreuodd redeg ati, gan waeddi, "Eleri!
En: When Dafydd saw his sheep with Eleri, he started running towards them, shouting, "Eleri!
Cy: Dyna fy mamog i!
En: That's my sheep!"
Cy: "Dechreuodd Eleri redeg gyda'r dafad, yn ddiarwybod pam fod Dafydd yn ei dilyn.
En: Eleri started running with the sheep, unaware of why Dafydd was following her.
Cy: Roedd fel ras ffôl o gwmpas y castell.
En: It was like a foolish race around the castle.
Cy: Trwy'r gerddi, o dan y wal, hyd yn oed trwy'r neuadd fawr â'i fflagiau lliwgar yn chwifio yn yr awyr.
En: Through the gardens, under the wall, and even through the great hall with its colorful flags waving in the air.
Cy: Pawb yn y ffair oedd yn chwerthin wrth wylio'r ddau yn rhedeg y tu hwnt i'r stondinau a'r bobl syfrdan.
En: Everyone at the fair was laughing as they watched the two running around the booths and the astonished people.
Cy: Ond yn fuan, sylweddolodd Eleri'r wallgofrwydd a safodd yn ei holau.
En: But soon, Eleri noticed the madness and stopped in her tracks.
Cy: "Eleri!
En: "Eleri!
Cy: Hogia' fi yw hon!
En: This is my hogget!"
Cy: " Meddai Dafydd, gan ddal ei anadl.
En: Dafydd said, catching his breath.
Cy: Gwenodd Eleri'n ddieuog ac eglurodd, "Wps, roeddwn i'n meddwl mai fy mamog i oedd hi.
En: Eleri smiled innocently and explained, "Oops, I thought it was mine."
Cy: "Ar ôl gwerthfawrogi'r dryswch ddoniol, roedd Dafydd yn dda am faddau.
En: After appreciating the comical confusion, Dafydd forgave her.
Cy: Roeddent yn chwerthin am yr hanes am oriau.
En: They laughed about the story for hours.
Cy: O'r diwrnod hwnnw ymlaen, penderfynodd Eleri a Dafydd fod yn fwy gofalus gyda'u defaid.
En: From that day on, Eleri and Dafydd decided to be more careful with their sheep.
Cy: A bob tro roedd ffair yn Conwy, roedden nhw'n hel atgofion am y rhediad hynod hwnnw.
En: And every time there was a fair in Conwy, they cherished memories of that extraordinary race.
Cy: Afal a llefrith yw'r hyn a barodd i ddau berson ddod yn gyfeillion da.
En: An apple and cheese is what brought two people to become good friends.
Cy: Ac felly, mewn castell hynafol a defaid crwydrol, cafwyd diwrnod llawn sbort, a chyfeillgarwch a barhaodd.
En: And so, in an ancient castle and playful sheep, they had a day full of fun, and their friendship lasted.
