Ko: "서준의 초콜릿 커피 컵이 따뜻하게 손을 감쌌다. 그의 시선은 서울의 주요 거리를 내려다보는 창 밖으로 불안정하게 흔들렸다. 오늘은 특별한 날, 그가 원래의 계획대로라면 영어 선생님인 지혜를 만날 예정이었다."
En: Seojun's chocolate coffee cup warmed his hands. His gaze wavered unsteadily outside the window overlooking the main street in Seoul. Today was a special day, he was supposed to meet Jihye, his English teacher as originally planned.

Ko: "서준은 자신의 매너리즘인 한국의 경칭을 잊어버리고 있다는 사실에 놀랐다. 그의 혼돈은 상당히 복잡했다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그는 자신이 슬기로운 결정을 내릴 수 있을만큼 지혜로울 거라고 안심했다."
En: Seojun was surprised by the fact that he was forgetting Korean honorifics, his own mannerism. His confusion was quite complex. Nevertheless, he reassured himself that he would be wise enough to make a prudent decision.

En: "Well, Jihye, actually," Seojun paused, trying hard to hide his confusion.

Ko: 그들 둘이 커피숍에서 앉아 이야기하는 동안, 진실은 부드럽게 튀어나왔다. 서준은 자신이 경칭을 잊어버렸다는 사실을 고백했다. 부끄러움보다도 그의 고백은 웃음을 새다. 화가 났어야 할 상황에서 지혜는 그가 이렇게 쉽게 진실을 말해줬으니 웃음이 났다.
