Story Transcript:

Ja: 砂漠の太陽が、壊れたビルに影を落としていた。
En: The desert sun cast shadows on the crumbling buildings.

Ja: 冷たい風が、廃墟となった街を吹き抜ける。
En: A cold wind blew through the ruined city.

Ja: ここは破滅後の世界。
En: This was a world after destruction.

Ja: 生き残った人々の中で、レイナとマコトがいた。
En: Among the survivors were Reina and Makoto.

Ja: レイナは若くて、賢いスカベンジャーだ。
En: Reina was young and a smart scavenger.

Ja: 廃墟の中を探し回り、必要なものを集める。
En: She roamed through the ruins gathering what was needed.

Ja: しかし、彼女の兄、マコトが原因不明の病気にかかってしまった。
En: However, her brother Makoto had contracted an illness of unknown origin.

Ja: 病院の中は暗く、カビ臭かった。
En: The inside of the hospital was dark and smelled of mold.

Ja: 動かない足を一歩一歩進める。
En: She moved her unsteady feet step by step.

Ja: 急に、物音が聞こえた。レイナは弓を構えた。
En: Suddenly, she heard a noise. Reina readied her bow.

Ja: そこには一匹の変異生物がいた。
En: There was a mutated creature.

Ja: 淡い光の中、レイナは生物と対峙した。
En: In the dim light, Reina faced the creature.

Ja: 冷静に矢を放った。それは成功した。
En: She calmly shot an arrow. It hit its mark.

Ja: 部屋を一つ一つ探して、ついに薬の保管室に辿り着いた。
En: Searching room by room, she finally reached the medicine storage room.

Ja: 古い薬の瓶が棚に並んでいた。
En: Old bottles of medicine were lined up on the shelves.

Ja: "これが、役に立つといいけど…"彼女は祈りながら瓶を手に取った。
En: "I hope this will be useful..." She prayed as she took a bottle.

Ja: 急いで隠れ家に戻る。
En: She hurried back to the hideout.

Ja: 隠れ家に戻ると、マコトは横になっていた。
En: When she returned, Makoto was lying down.

Ja: "レイナ、無事だったのか？"彼はかすれた声で言った。
En: "Reina, you made it back safely?" he said in a raspy voice.

Ja: "もちろん、お兄ちゃん。"彼女は瓶を差し出した。"これを飲んで。"
En: "Of course, big brother." She handed him the bottle. "Drink this."

Ja: レイナはマコトに薬を与えた。
En: Reina gave Makoto the medicine.

Ja: 時間が過ぎるのを待ちながら、彼の様子を見守った。
En: She watched him as time passed.

Ja: 夜が明けると、マコトの顔に少し色が戻っていた。
En: As dawn broke, some color returned to Makoto's face.

Ja: "少し、楽になった気がする…"
En: "I feel a bit better..."
