(0:51) One of Royal Cornwall Hospitals biggest objectives this year is to reduce patient waiting times for elective surgery. We talk to Catherine Cade - Elective Recovery Programme Manager and Quality Improvement Lead about the super clinics we’ve been running.
(8:42) We have an interview with Consultant Matthew Berry about the brand-new patient system coming to our hospitals.
(14:00) And last week, our Chief Executive, Steve Williamson visited the radio studio to meet with the station’s chairman, Mark Sanders. We listen in to their conversation about the history of our hospital radio station. And with an aim to improve the health and wellbeing of listeners, Mark also explains how the CHBN team are there to help you share exciting news and projects happening across our organisation and how you can volunteer for a role at the station.
Tune in live to The RCHT Radio Show for new interviews every Tuesday from 12pm to 2pm! Listen on CHBN, broadcasting on 100.8 FM in the Truro area, or stream online at chbnradio.org. You can also catch us on the CHBN radio app or simply ask your smart speaker to play CHBN radio.
To all Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust staff: We welcome your stories and good news! If you have something to share or if there's a topic you'd like us to explore, please contact us at RCHT.Communication@nhs.net. We'd love to hear from you.
