Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd y tywydd yn hyfryd yn Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, pentref bychan gyda chalon fawr a'i enw yn un sy'n her i'r teithiwr anamgyrchol.
En: The weather was lovely in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, a small village with a big heart and a name that challenges the relentless traveler.

Cy: Un bore, wrth i'r haul godi dros y dref, roedd Rhys yn cerdded ar hyd Stryd Fawr gyda chwiban yn ei gam.
En: One morning, as the sun rose over the town, Rhys was walking along Stryd Fawr with a spring in his step.

Cy: Rhys, dyn ifanc, cryf, ac yn llawn hwyliog, ydoedd e'n adnabyddus yn y pentref am ei wên fawr a'i storïau diddiwedd.
En: Rhys, a young, strong, and cheerful man, was well-known in the village for his big smile and endless stories.

Cy: Ond heddiw, roedd gan Rhys broblem fawr.
En: But today, Rhys had a big problem.

Cy: Roedd yn nesáu at y drws cul, hen drws derw a oedd yn brithwaith o blanhigion gwylltion a breuddwydion hir a aeth heibio.
En: He was approaching the narrow door, an old oak door adorned with wild plants and long-forgotten dreams.

Cy: Wedi'i anwybyddu ers amser maith, roedd pawb yn y pentref yn osgoi'r drws cul, ond nid Rhys.
En: Ignored for a long time, everyone in the village avoided the narrow door, but not Rhys.

Cy: Gan ei fod yn caru her, penderfynodd Rhys fynd trwy'r drws enwog.
En: Loving a challenge, Rhys decided to go through the famous door.

Cy: Gyda gwên ar ei wyneb, dechreuodd Rhys symud yn ofalus tuag at y drws, gan ddweud, "Does dim drws sydd ddim yn fy nherbyn i!
En: With a smile on his face, Rhys began to move carefully towards the door, saying, "There's no door that can't stand in my way!"

Cy: "Ond wele!
En: But lo!

Cy: Wedi iddo geisio mynd trwyddo, sylweddolodd Rhys yn rhy hwyr roedd ei ysgwyddau llednais wedi ei gaethiwo yng nghwt y drws.
En: As he tried to go through, Rhys realized too late that his broad shoulders had become stuck in the door's narrow opening.

Cy: Roedd yn sownd!
En: He was stuck!

Cy: Ceisiodd symud ymlaen ac yn ôl, ond oedd hi'n amhosib.
En: He tried to move forward and back, but it was impossible.

Cy: Roedd Rhys yn sownd yn drapio rhwng y ddau fyd yn y drws hwnnw.
En: Rhys was stuck between the two worlds in that door.

Cy: Cynddeiriog o chwerthin a chri, dyma lefara Gwen, gwerthwraig leol sy'n caru chwerthin ar bob tro.
En: Amidst laughter and cries, Gwen, a local merchant who loved to laugh every time, spoke up.

Cy: "Wel, wel, Rhys bach, beth sydd wedi dy ddod i'r fan hyn?
En: "Well, well, Rhys bach, what have you got yourself into?"

Cy: "Roedd Rhys yn lled swil, ond ni allai lai na chwerthin gyda Gwen.
En: Rhys was quite embarrassed, but he could not help but laugh with Gwen.

Cy: Gadawodd Gwen iddo geisio dod mas ar ei ben ei hun am ychydig funudau mwy cyn penderfynu bod angen cymorth ar Rhys.
En: Gwen let him struggle alone for a few more moments before deciding that Rhys needed help.

Cy: Rhedodd Gwen i chwilio am Eleri, yr hynafgwr hoffus â doethineb y pentref yn ei llygaid.
En: Gwen ran to find Eleri, the affectionate elder with the wisdom of the village in her eyes.

Cy: Yn ôl yn y drws, roedd Rhys yn dechrau teimlo ychydig yn gyfyngedig a phryderus.
En: Back at the door, Rhys began to feel a little cramped and anxious.

Cy: Ond nid oedd yn hir cyn gweld Gwen yn dychwelyd gydag Eleri, gan redeg am y drws gyda barodrwydd ac ysbryd i helpu.
En: But it wasn't long before he saw Gwen returning with Eleri, running to the door with readiness and spirit to help.

Cy: "Eleri, diolch i chi am ddod!
En: "Eleri, thank you for coming!"

Cy: " meddai Rhys, ei lais ychydig yn fudr wrth iddo frwydro â'i gyfyng-gyngor.
En: Rhys said, his voice a little muffled as he struggled with his predicament.

Cy: Gwenodd Eleri, gwraig doeth â chalon gynnes.
En: Eleri, a wise woman with a warm heart, reassured Rhys.

Cy: "Dim problemau, Rhys.
En: "No problems, Rhys.

Cy: Gad i ni weld beth allwn ni ei wneud.
En: Let's see what we can do."

Cy: "Gyda'i gilydd, trin a thrafod fyddai Gwen a Eleri.
En: Together, Gwen and Eleri handled and discussed the situation.

Cy: Fe wnaethant dynnu rhywfaint o'r planhigion a oedd yn tyfu o gwmpas y drws, gan rhoi mwy o le.
En: They pulled some of the plants growing around the door, making more room.

Cy: Yna, gyda'i gilydd, gwnaethant wthio ac estyn gyda phob gronyn o'u nerth nes i Rhys lithro'n rhydd gyda sioc a lleddfu mawr.
En: Then, together, they pushed and pulled with all their might until Rhys slipped free with a shock and a great sigh of relief.

Cy: Roedd Rhys yn wagio o'r drws ac yn syrthio i mewn i freichiau Gwen a Eleri.
En: Rhys staggered away from the door and fell into the arms of Gwen and Eleri.

Cy: "Diolch, diolch!
En: "Thank you, thank you!

Cy: Wyddwn i ddim beth fyddwn i'n ei wneud heb eich help chi," meddai Rhys, wrth ymgrychu ei ddillad a thynnu dail o'i wallt.
En: I wouldn't know what to do without your help," said Rhys, clutching his clothes and pulling leaves from his hair.

Cy: Eleri, yn gwenu'n olau, rhoes cyngor mawr i Rhys, "Weithiau, mae'r heriau rwyt ti'n eu dewis yn fwy na ni allwn eu rheoli.
En: Eleri, smiling brightly, gave Rhys some great advice, "Sometimes, the challenges you choose are bigger than we can control.

Cy: Cofia bob amser fynd y llwybr sy'n fwy rhesymol.
En: Remember always to take the more reasonable path."

Cy: "Dysgodd Rhys wers bwysig y diwrnod hwnnw yn Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch: bod dewrder yn dda, ond mae pwyll a chyfeillion da yn well byth.
En: Rhys learned an important lesson that day in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch: bravery is good, but wisdom and good friends are even better.

Cy: Ac o hynny ymlaen, byddai Rhys ychydig yn fwy gofalgar gyda'i ddewis o heriau ac yn parhau i ryfeddu'r rhai oedd yn atal i wrando ar ei storïau, heb fod yn sownd mewn unrhyw ddrysau culion.
En: And from then on, Rhys would be a little more careful in choosing his challenges and continue to amaze those who wouldn't listen to his stories, without getting stuck in any narrow doors.
