Story Transcript:

Lt: Saulėtą rudenio rytą Audrius pabudo itin laimingas.
En: On a sunny autumn morning, Audrius woke up very happy.

Lt: Šiandien buvo ne eilinė diena – miestelį, kuriame gyveno Audrius, šiandien pirmą kartą aplankys didžiulis Bulvių festivalis.
En: Today was not an ordinary day - a huge Potato Festival was going to visit the town where Audrius lived for the first time.

Lt: Visa aplinka tvyrojo šventės nuotaika.
En: The whole atmosphere was filled with a festive mood.

Lt: Audrius, turėdamas aistrą maistui ir ypatingai bulvėms, nusprendė, kad privalo dalyvauti šventėje.
En: Audrius, passionate about food and especially potatoes, decided that he must participate in the festival.

Lt: Jis patraukė į miestelio aikštę, kur šventė turėjo vykti.
En: He made his way to the town square where the festival was supposed to take place.

Lt: Žmonės jau buvo susirinkę tūkstančiais, o šventė virė kaip karšta sriuba.
En: Thousands of people had already gathered, and the festival was boiling like hot soup.

Lt: Skirtinguose kampeliuose kūrėsi įvairios bulvių patiekalų stotelės.
En: Various potato dish stalls were set up in different corners.

Lt: Audrius pamatė keptų bulvių, bulvių blynų, net bulvių pyrago!
En: Audrius saw fried potatoes, potato pancakes, and even potato pie!

Lt: Akys žibėjo iš džiaugsmo.

Lt: Tačiau netikėtai Audrius pastebėjo, kad vienoje stotelėje – Vilniaus bulvių blynų skrynelėje – kilo sumaištis.
En: Unexpectedly, Audrius noticed a commotion at one of the stalls – the Vilnius potato pancake stall.

Lt: Vilnius, stotelės savininkas, atrodė itin susirūpinęs.

Lt: Jo keptuvės buvo tuščios, o eilė tik ilgėjo.
En: His frying pan was empty, and the line only grew longer.

Lt: Audrius nusprendė, kad privalo padėti.
En: Audrius decided that he had to help.

Lt: Eidamas link išgąsčio kupino Vilniaus, Audrius pastebėjo, kad iš tiesų bulvių yra – tiesiog nėra, kas jas tarkuotų.
En: Approaching the distressed Vilnius, Audrius noticed that there were indeed potatoes - there just wasn't anyone to grate them.

Lt: O tai buvo Audriaus specialybė!
En: And that was Audrius's specialty!

Lt: Jis greitai pasiūlė savo pagalbą, ir susitarė dalintis festivalio pelnu, jei tik bulvių blynai vėl keliautų į lankytojų lėkštutes.
En: He quickly offered his help and agreed to share the festival's profit if only the potato pancakes would make their way back to the visitors' plates.

Lt: Audrius ėmėsi darbo.
En: Audrius got to work.

Lt: Bulvės tarkavosi kaip magija, o blynai kepė vienas paskui kitą.
En: The potatoes grated like magic, and the pancakes were fried one after another.

Lt: Eilė pradėjo mažėti, o žmonių veidai – švytėti džiaugsmu.
En: The line started to shrink, and people's faces were shining with joy.

Lt: Netrukus šventės dalyviai vėl galėjo mėgautis Vilniaus gardžiais bulvių blynais.

Lt: Jis ne tik padėjo išgelbėti bulvių blynų skrynelę ir užtikrinti šventės sėkmę, bet ir tapo vietos žvaigžde.
En: He not only helped save the potato pancake stall and ensure the success of the festival, but also became a local star.

Lt: Dar labiau - jis su Vilniumi tapo puikiais draugais.
En: What's more, he and Vilnius became great friends.

Lt: Abi jų širdys, kaip ir keptuvės, buvo šiltos ir pilnos džiaugsmo.
En: Both of their hearts, like their frying pans, were warm and full of joy.

Lt: Nuo to laiko Audrius ir Vilnius kasmet laukė Bulvių festivalio su nekantrumu.
En: From that time on, Audrius and Vilnius eagerly awaited the Potato Festival every year.

Lt: Jie žinojo, kad tai ne vien šventė, bet ir laikas, kai visi susirenka kartu, kad sukurtų šilumą ir džiaugsmą, kuriuos tik bulvės gali suteikti.
En: They knew that it was not just a festival, but also a time for everyone to come together and create warmth and joy, which only potatoes can provide.

Lt: Ir tad, jų šventė visuomet buvo pripildyta šypsenų, sočių pilvų ir širdies šilumos.
En: And so, their festival was always filled with smiles, satisfied stomachs, and warmth of the heart.
