Lv: Kļūda, kas savieno sirdis.
En: Error that connects hearts.

Lv: Ziemas rīts Rīgā bija auksts, bet saulains.
En: It was a cold but sunny winter morning in Riga.

Lv: Gaiši saules stari spīdēja pār pārpildīto Centrāltirgu, kur cilvēki drūzmējās iepirkties svaigiem, saldētiem dārzeņiem un augļiem.
En: Bright sunbeams shone over the bustling Central Market, where people crowded to buy fresh, frozen vegetables and fruits.

Lv: Šajā dienā, tur bija arī Anna un viņas labā draudzene Liene.
En: On this day, Anna and her good friend Liene were also there.

Lv: Viņas bija nolēmušas gatavot lielu un garšīgu zupu, tāpēc vajadzēja daudz dažādu sastāvdaļu.
En: They had decided to cook a large and tasty soup, so they needed a lot of different ingredients.

En: "I'm not a vendor, but I like your enthusiasm," he replied with a smile.

En: Blushing, Anna asked, "Oh, sorry, I made a mistake.

Lv: Bet varbūt jūs zināt, kur šeit var iegādāties labus burkānus?
En: But maybe you know where to buy good carrots here?"

Lv: " Juris, joprojām smaidot, teica, "Protams, man ir iecienīts stends, varu parādīt.
En: Still smiling, Juris said, "Of course, I have a favorite stand, I can show you."

Lv: "Liene no malas vēroja šo apmaiņu un nepamana bērnu, kurš pameta apelsīnu, kas ritēja tieši viņai zem kājām.
En: Liene, watching this exchange, didn't notice a child leaving an orange that rolled right under her feet.
