Story Transcript:

En: In a bustling small town, there is always a lively night market every Friday night.

Id: Lampu-lampu warna-warni menghiasi sepanjang jalan, dan aroma makanan yang lezat menyapu seluruh area.
En: Colorful lights decorate the streets, and the delicious aroma of food sweeps across the area.

En: Siti, a girl who is always curious and likes to try new things, decides to explore the market.

Id: Sambil berjalan kaki, Siti melihat aneka ragam barang yang dijual.
En: As she walks, Siti sees a variety of items for sale.

En: There are traditional toys, brightly colored clothes, and the most interesting to her is the row of stalls selling fresh fruits.

Id: Siti memutuskan untuk mendekati salah satu penjual buah yang tertawa-tawa bersama para pembeli.
En: Siti decides to approach one of the fruit sellers who is laughing with the customers.

En: Siti's eyes are drawn to a large, spiky fruit.

Id: Tanpa ragu, ia berkata kepada penjual buah, "Pak, saya ingin membeli satu nangka ini!"
En: Without hesitation, she says to the fruit seller, "Sir, I would like to buy this jackfruit!"

Id: Penjual buah itu terkekeh dan tangannya menepuk-nepuk meja kayu, hingga beberapa buah lain ikut terguncang.
En: The fruit seller chuckles and taps his wooden table, causing some other fruits to shake.

Id: Wah, nona muda yang lucu! Itu bukan nangka, tetapi durian!
En: Well, young lady, that's not jackfruit, but durian!

Id: Siti, yang merasa malu, merona padam.
En: Feeling embarrassed, Siti blushes.

Id: Ia belum pernah melihat durian seumur hidupnya dan hanya mendengar tentang rasa lezatnya.
En: She has never seen durian in her life and has only heard about its delicious taste.

En: The other customers also laugh, but not to tease her, but because the situation is indeed funny.

Id: Maaf, Pak. Saya belum pernah makan durian sebelumnya. Saya pikir itu nangka karena bentuknya mirip,
En: I'm sorry, Sir. I have never eaten durian before. I thought it was jackfruit because it looks similar,

Id: ucap Siti sambil tertunduk.
En: says Siti, looking down.

En: The fruit seller smiles gently and says, "It's okay, Miss. It's your first time for everything. As luck would have it, this durian is ripe enough, perfect for trying. Come on, I'll peel it for you!"

En: With a delighted heart, Siti watches the seller skillfully peel the durian.

Id: Aromanya yang kuat langsung tercium, membuat hidung Siti mengerut.
En: Its strong aroma is immediately noticeable, making Siti scrunch up her nose.

Id: Namun, ia tetap ingin mencoba.
En: Nevertheless, she still wants to try it.

Id: Siti mengambil sepotong daging buah durian dan perlahan-lahan mencicipinya.
En: Siti takes a piece of the durian flesh and slowly tastes it.

En: The durian's flavor is soft and sweet, different from what she had imagined.

En: She smiles widely and says, "Wow, this is delicious, Sir!"

En: The fruit seller laughs again, this time with joy.

Id: Saya senang Anda suka. Mari, ambil lagi.
En: I'm glad you like it. Here, take some more. I'll give you a special price, cheerful Miss!

En: Siti returns home with a joyful heart and hands full of souvenirs from the night market, including the ripe durian she bought from the seller.

En: She will always remember the experience as a night filled with laughter and curiosity that led to a delightful discovery.

En: And from that, Siti learns that small mistakes can end with laughter and valuable lessons, and also new acquaintances at her beloved night market.
