Reports have come out that a Massachusetts construction worker died from excessive eating of black licorice over a couple weeks period. The man was consuming a bag and a half everyday for a couple weeks. Turns out studies reveal that licorice root extract and licorice drain your potassium levels to a dangerous level as well as increase your blood pressure. The man's heart gave out.
