More about Susan: Susan Shofer’s career began in finance with T. Rowe Price and Associates. From T. Rowe Price, Susan was hired by a detective agency whose focus was primarily detecting fraud; a career where she flourished. She brings her investigative skills to her High Conflict Divorce Strategist and Coach practice. As an agency licensed private investigator. Susan has testified in court over 1,100 testifying hours. Susan’s subspecialty is parental alienation and she was asked to give a TEDx Talk on the subject. She did so from the perspective of the child and how parental alienation negatively impacts families. Susan has a global presence and has worked with people around the world. She has spoken to groups of professional in the custody space about ways to recognize parental alienation and how to diffuse it. Susan is a member of the Parental Alienation Study Group and attributes much of her knowledge to the esteemed experts and clinicians in the organization. She is also a CDC Certified Divorce Coach and is on the academy’s High Conflict Advisory Board. The board is currently developing a program for certified divorce coaches who want to acquire certification in the high conflict space.
