More about Herb Knoll... For nearly 14 years, I have dedicated my life to the service of widowers worldwide, and during that time, I have learned much about what it takes to recover from male grief. From the widower’s mental and physical health to their financial health, ensuring their career is stable, and their relationships with their children, in-laws, friends, and family have recovered if they suffered following their bride’s passing. Grieving men need to address each part of their life that may have fallen into disarray following the loss. Much like an airplane preparing to take off, all systems must be in “go mode” before the pilot commits to going airborne. While my view is not a surefire way to regain JOY, it is one of the steps that may go a long way to recovery from grief.

More about Dr. Danielle: Dr. Danielle was born and raised in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. She traveled extensively through Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia before moving to the United States in 1979. Despite a happy childhood, her marriage was far from ideal. She became trapped in a cult and struggled to make her marriage work for 20 years, ultimately filing for a divorce that lasted over 16 years due to custody issues. During this time, she and her children often hid in different states. When her teenage children ran away from their abusive father, Danielle and her oldest daughter were arrested and falsely accused of kidnapping. Danielle spent six months in maximum security for a crime she did not commit. Upon her release, the late Dr. Karin Huffer, a forensic psychologist, reached out to her. Together, they worked to empower people suffering from legal abuse in various situations through a weekly support group. Legal abuse is a significant issue that destroys many lives in the United States and has spread globally.

More about Chrystal Meach,: Chrystal Meach grew up in America's heartland on a small farm in rural Wisconsin. She went to college for architecture and switched to accounting; after 18 years in healthcare finance and building what seemed to be the white picket fence life, it all came crumbling down.
