En: The beautiful mansion by the lake was filled with people.
Sv: De firade midsommar.
En: They were celebrating Midsummer.
En: Isabella and Sofia were among the guests, both dressed in traditional Swedish attire and were also old, good friends.
En: Sofia proudly wore her traditional Swedish hat, a beauty in blue and white, adorned with ribbons and small flags.
En: The food was plentiful, and the table was laden with all the delicious Swedish delicacies.
En: Isabella, who was always cheerful and playful, began to help with the serving.
Sv: Men Isabella gjorde ett misstag.
En: But Isabella made a mistake.
Sv: I allt ståhej, såg hon Sofias hatt ligga på bordet.
En: In all the commotion, she saw Sofia's hat lying on the table.
En: With the blue and white pattern creating an illusion, she mistook the hat's circumference for a plate.
En: She started filling it with herring, new potatoes, and cucumber.
En: Sofia, who didn't see what was happening, was happily chatting with the other guests.
En: So when she noticed her mistake, she was surprised and a little upset.
Sv: Isabella sa genast förlåt och alla skrattade gott åt misstaget.
En: Isabella immediately apologized, and everyone laughed at the mistake.
En: Isabella carefully cleaned the inside of the hat, but it was too much, the hat was ruined.
En: Sofia was disappointed but didn't let the situation ruin the atmosphere.
En: A few days later, there was a knock on Sofia's door.
En: There stood Isabella with a big package.
Sv: "En liten gåva", sa hon förläget.
En: "A small gift," she said sheepishly.
En: Sofia opened the package and found a brand-new hat, even more beautiful than the previous one.
En: "Now we can laugh about it all," said Isabella, and Sofia nodded in agreement.
En: They hugged each other tightly, warming each other with a sense of camaraderie that only real good friends can experience.
En: And so, their Midsummer ended with one less hat but a friendship that grew stronger.
