“Safest Drug is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2019 with a mission to prevent and alleviate medication-related illness, disability, and death in the United States, a public health issue that kills over 100,000 people every year and injures millions, some permanently. By leading and launching consumer-focused education, research, and advocacy initiatives, our work focuses on addressing the root causes of “medication harm” and raising more awareness about what it means to be medicated in America.”
