Thomas Edison knew he had a great idea. One day he'd invite light into every dark room. To achieve that place of acceptance required mistakes. Openly he admits that it was one thousand things gone wrong. I honestly don't believe today's business world is interested in such attempts. Decision makers and space takers in the business oval office want instant gratification mainly because they're out to serve themselves before all others. On this podcast I talk about building the strength to accept failure. A tough place to walk in a world pretending to be perfect. There's positive energy found in flubs and stumbles but hardly anybody admits to being a screw up. How many times did it take McDonalds to build the Big Mac? Obviously they're still trying to create the better sandwich because over the weekend I saw they've now added bacon to it. Being a daily writer I'm reminded of how many times I eff things up. On this particular show I utilize the trust put into stream thinking. No judgement or perfection jot down what ever is moving through you in the moment. Then come back a different day to study the moment. Being truthful of your path isn't an itemized list of victories but rather a stroll through awareness and recovery. While at the homeless shelter I shared a conversation with a true man of God about how I've invested in being true to Yoga Nidra, "Mindfully I live in the present." His exact words were, "What is mindful? What does that mean?" Knowing your moment of "Now" is a tough journey to walk. Documenting the disconnected circle isn't a place to be proud of and yet the energy poured into self forgiveness allows the ability of your skills to have life beyond what others have labeled a weakness or failure. Practice stream thinking. Write down whatever hits you in the moment. Then walk away. Don't go back and read it. Walk away. Being available in your moment of "Now" teaches your creative self to have a voice without endlessly being ridiculed. The true eff up here isn't you, it's those that don't believe in you.
