  • The Daily Mess What Can We Learn

23 MAG 2024 · May 22, 2024   I've been a broadcast instructor since 1988.  My students have become top rated morning show talent across the country, sports directors and operation managers.  Being truthful, I've also had my fair share of flops.  Their ambitions flattened by a lingering fear or a lack of self-belief.  The origin of their dreams had been chased away from the visions of growing forward.  That's where I think we can all learn.  We've all been there!  It's time we identify why we turned our backs or dropped our dreams off in the nearest trash can.  Learning through others whose hopes were once set high and their falls became lessons for us to learn from.  Because it always happen to us on a different day.

  • AGT Superstar Jackie Evancho Releases A New Wave Of Sound Solla And Behind My Eyes

23 MAG 2024 · Evancho wrote all 6 songs and co-produced the EP with Smash Mouth’s founding member and songwriter Greg Camp. The first single off Solla, Behind My Eyes, was released in September and went to radio in February and currently remains at #22 on the Billboard AC Chart.  Says Jackie about the song, “Behind My Eyes,” "This is a song I wrote to almost exemplify the feeling of losing it. It’s a song that doesn’t exactly make sense lyrically. There are feelings of paranoia, euphoria, mania, etc. It’s a big jumble of many things at once, and often it is hard to understand and empathize with the one trying to explain this.” Jackie goes on, “I’m excited, as well as nervous about the release of this song. I know in the end I’m telling my truth and I can’t wait to share who I am with the world and my fans.”   Singer, concert artist, actress, and model, Jackie Evancho is a platinum-selling recording artist who first became a worldwide sensation at the age of 10 years old, with her stunning debut performance singing “O Mio Babbino Caro” on season 5 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent (AGT). A career that began with a little girl’s fascination with the film adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera has led Billboard to twice include Jackie on its list of “music movers-and-shakers under the age of 21,” as well as Forbes Magazine naming Jackie to their list of “30 under 30,” in part due to the history she has made along the way  – the youngest solo platinum artist, earning the record away from Michael Jackson – the youngest top 5 debut artist ever in the U.K – the highest-ranking debut artist of 2010 – and a Guinness World Record as the youngest person to ever have a US Top 3 album.

Yet, even in 1955, her heart still aches over the death of her sister more than four decades earlier. Lately, Violet can't help thinking about the little girl, picturing her in the moments before the accident, wearing that pleated white dress and a hair bow to match. Maybe if her big sister were here now, she could tell Violet what to do about the secret she's been keeping from her daughter Daisy. Daisy has a secret of her own. When she first moved back home to Scranton, she wasn't ready to give up her dreams of performing in Atlantic City. Then she met Johnny, a man who needs music as much as she does. Not that he told Zethray, but she knows. The dead like to talk, and she listens. If only her mother would tell the secret behind her shocking death. Instead, she stands silent, while that little girl with the bow in her hair runs wild. Rain Breaks No Bones, is the final novel in the Scranton Trilogy, starting with Sing in the Morning, Cry at Night, followed by All Waiting Is Long. • Television Writer And Producer Richard Gurman Releases Married With Children Versus The World

21 MAG 2024 · Married. With Children burst onto the airwaves with a full-frontal attack on the myth of domestic tranquility depicted in family comedies since the dawn of TV. The outlier series, created by two rebellious writers given carte blanche from a fledgling FOX network, became one of the longest running live-action sitcoms in television history and forever changed the way married life was portrayed on the networks it so scathingly satirized. But it was far from smooth sailing as the creators, Michael Moye and Ron Leavitt, bucked up against Barry Diller-then CEO of FOX-on everything from casting to content and butted heads with network standards as they sought to shatter traditional broadcast norms. Married. With Children writer-producer Richard Gurman takes us behind the scenes of this boundary-breaking show to reveal how its inner workings were at times disruptive and contentious. At other times, as hysterical and raunchy-as the Bundy family themselves. Featuring exclusive interviews with the cast, including Ed O'Neill, Katey Sagal, David Faustino, Amanda Bearse, David Garrison and Ted McGinley, media moguls, network executives, writers, directors, critics, and even the woman who was so offended by one episode she launched a sponsor boycott that almost got the series canceled, Married. With Children VS. the World celebrates the rebellious, satirical vision of the show and the battle to keep it alive that paved the way for the tremendous diversity in family comedy style we see today.

  • The Daily Mess AI Generated Biography

21 MAG 2024 · May 20, 2024   I can’t shake a thought that came to me through a dream, “You don’t match your AI generated biography.”  What was I just given?  Doing some research I came across several websites that are AI based and they can generate your biography.  Instantly I felt worry and fear.  How many of these AI generated biographies will be false stories?  It leaves the human heart open to believe anything.  There could one day be a day when we no longer have to speak about lifelong journey.  It will be available through the power of AI for anyone to read.  I still wonder how many of the biographies would speak the truth.  Look at our bios on other digital platforms especially Wikipedia.  You don’t match your AI generated biography.

  • Famed Photographer David Alexander Releases Pictures Of Time The Ordinary World Is Extraordinary

21 MAG 2024 · For decades, David Alexander enjoyed a successful career as a commercial photographer, known for his work on the album covers of artists such as the Eagles, Aretha Franklin, Linda Ronstadt, James Brown, Ringo Starr, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, to name just a few, and movie posters for box office smashes like The Blues Brothers and 9 to 5. In the process of making art, he began to see connections that expanded his thinking about the planet we humans share with the environment. In his debut book, PICTURES OF TIME: Seeing Time in the Ordinary World (Silver Street Media; April 22, 2024; ISBN: 9781542212786; $70.00/Hardcover; 12 x 12; 124 pages), David Alexander uses the language of photography to share his revelations into how all living things are connected, and how these connections are often hidden in plain sight all around us. The common bond is a constant, yet continually changing, fact of life: time. As Alexander reflects: "I find the ordinary world to be extraordinary, and I hope that comes through in the photographs. I want the book to reveal signs of evolution for the reader-glimpsing the past by looking closely at the present, seeing connections among living and natural things, and, ultimately, feeling our place during evolution, i.e., time. Seeing and taking pictures of this stuff, to me, is fun and often funny."Organized by descriptive chapter headings-Shape, Pairing, Reflection, Rhythm, Together, and Aging-Pictures of Time presents a collection of full-color photographs of people, trees, flowers, and birds captured in similar configurations or forms.

The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 285

8 MAR 2022 · I could spend hours studying the effects of water and wind. How a one time sheet of glass glamorously paints the portrait of fall colors then swiftly evolves into a series of ripples by a restless wind. It's as if Mother Nature has sent out a message of her portraits being for a limited time. As people we endlessly send out signals. Body language! What our body is performer may not be what it's physically projecting. What is seen from afar versus what is truly heard are two different shapes of communication. Body language to a receiver is solely based on assumption. Because your body is saying this doesn't mean that's the vocal message. I've learned to work with the wind. To mess up the calm and give those watching waves of new beginnings. I see myself in two different places, on Undercover Boss and on Tik Tok. Camera's are always watching. No step is taken without body language. What is your body saying to other people? The worse part about it is how it's not what others are reading.
