In this episode of the Heart Centering Podcast, we sit with what it means to live in a time that can feel cold, divided, and hardened — and how we respond without hardening ourselves.

“Melting Icy Hearts” is a conversation about staying human when the world feels inhumane. About protecting what is sacred without closing our hearts. About choosing courage over apathy. Presence over polarization. Love over fear.

With a boots-on-the-ground perspective and deep personal reflection, we explore how history shapes us, how pain can either freeze or refine us, and how heart-centered awareness becomes an act of conscious engagement.

Gil shares what it feels like to witness echoes of history in real time — as the son of parents who endured the Holocaust, imprisonment, resistance, and ultimately chose to build a life rooted in freedom. Their courage reminds us that love is not passive. It is brave. It is steady. It is lived.

We are holding space for the memory of Renee Good and Alex Pretti and for all whose lives are touched by these events, honoring their courage and the reminder that standing in love is not weakness — it is strength.

If this conversation moves you, we invite you to take one grounded action step.
