Story Transcript:

Bg: В един слънчев ден, Иван пое към Централния пазар в София.
En: On a sunny day, Ivan headed to the Central Market in Sofia.

Bg: Той трябваше да купи зеленчуци за вечерята си.
En: He needed to buy vegetables for his dinner.

Bg: Пазарът беше пълен с хора, които си купуваха разнообразни продукти - от пресни плодове до свежи билки.
En: The market was crowded with people buying a variety of products - from fresh fruits to fresh herbs.

Bg: Иван беше забравил очилата си у дома, което му правеше трудно да различи продуктите.
En: Ivan had forgotten his glasses at home, making it difficult for him to distinguish the products.

Bg: Обикаляйки щандовете, той вдигна една глава зеле, мислейки, че е маруля.
En: While browsing the stalls, he picked up a head of cabbage, thinking it was lettuce.

Bg: Дръжки от магданоз обаче привлякоха вниманието му и той съвсем забрави за зелето в ръка си.
En: However, parsley stems caught his attention and he completely forgot about the cabbage in his hand.

Bg: Дошло време да плаща, Иван постави зелето на касата.
En: When it was time to pay, Ivan placed the cabbage on the counter.

Bg: Касиерката, Мария, с усмивка го погледна и рече:- Господине, вие съвсем се объркахте.
En: The cashier, Maria, smiled at him and said: - Sir, you've got it all wrong.

Bg: Това не е маруля, това е зеле.
En: This is not lettuce, it's cabbage.

Bg: Иван се разчерви от смущение и извиняващо каза:- О, извинете ми, но съм забравил очилата си и не съм различил.
En: Ivan felt embarrassed and apologetically said: - Oh, excuse me, but I forgot my glasses and couldn't tell.

Bg: Мария сърдечно му се усмихна и отвърна:- Няма проблем, аз ще ви помогна да намерите най-красивата глава маруля.
En: Maria warmly smiled at him and replied: - No problem, I'll help you find the most beautiful head of lettuce.

Bg: Тя го заведе до щанда със зеленчуци и му посочи марулите.
En: She led him to the vegetable stand and pointed out the lettuces.

Bg: Иван беше благодарен и в знак на благодарност купи още няколко продукта от нея.
En: Ivan was grateful and, as a token of gratitude, bought several more products from her.

Bg: Мария го изпрати с усмивка и пожелание за приятно готвене.
En: Maria sent him off with a smile and a wish for a pleasant cooking experience.

Bg: В края на деня, Иван имаше чудесна вечеря, а също така и нова приятелка на пазара.
En: At the end of the day, Ivan had a wonderful dinner and also a new friend from the market.

Bg: Неприятната ситуация се превърна във възможност за смях и ново приятелство.
En: The unpleasant situation turned into an opportunity for laughter and a new friendship.
