Marc Hartz, sportswriter for the Shelby Globe, phoned into WMAN on Thursday to preview the Shelby girls volleyball team playing in the state semi-finals on Thursday, November 7th.  The appearance in the final four is the first time in 34 years for Shelby, and just the 3rd time ever in school history.

Hartz shared on the recent success for several of the Shelby teams and individuals over the last calendar year - including the football team, boys basketball, cross country and tennis.
