Uk: Зима вдягла Київ в сніжну шубу. Іван і Олена готувались до святкування «Маланки». У руках у них були барвисті стрічки, погляди наповнені радістю, а в серцях - сподіваність на чудо.
En: Winter dressed Kyiv in a snowy coat. Ivan and Olena were getting ready to celebrate "Malanka". In their hands were colorful ribbons, their eyes filled with joy, and in their hearts - hope for a miracle.

Uk: На вулицях гомоніли діти, заглядаючи в небо у пошуках «Діда Мороза». Святкування повним ходом готувалось. Від радісного святкового гомону цілий Київ ніби прокинувся.
En: Children chattered on the streets, looking up at the sky in search of "Ded Moroz" (Grandfather Frost). The celebration was in full swing. From the joyful holiday chatter, the whole of Kyiv seemed to wake up.

Uk: І ось вже стрічки віяли на вітру, а в руках Олени і Івана були шаблі, скравіше сонця. Вони були готові зустріти Новий рік. «Маланка» в Києві була особливою - вона була і святом, і грою. Були веселощі, пісні та танці.

Uk: І відбулось непридумане: на свято прибув Дід Мороз. Захоплення випередило розчарування, коли з усмішкою він викликав своєю рукою: "Снігуронько, вийди!". За дверима з'явилась Снігурка - вигадлива, з різнокольоровими пір'їнками у волоссі.
En: And then something unbelievable happened: Ded Moroz arrived at the celebration. The excitement exceeded disappointment when he called out with a smile: "Snow Maiden, come out!" Snow Maiden appeared from behind the door - imaginative, with multicolored feathers in her hair.

Uk: Діти гралися, Снігуронька розповідала історії, а Дід Мороз на цей раз, замість подарунків, роздавав добрі поради. "Працюйте важко, будьте добрими, завжди допомагайте іншим", - казав він.
En: The children played, Snow Maiden told stories, and this time Ded Moroz, instead of gifts, gave out good advice. "Work hard, be kind, always help others," he said.

Uk: Поки Дід Мороз розповідав свої історії, Олена та Іван подушпірнували посмішку. Вони розуміли, як є важливим милосердя і доброта. Та для них свято ще було не закінчене: вони ще мали вирушити додому через сніжні вулиці Києва, і принести з собою радість та любов.
En: While Ded Moroz told his stories, Olena and Ivan exchanged smiles. They understood the importance of compassion and kindness. But the celebration was not over for them: they still had to make their way home through the snowy streets of Kyiv, bringing joy and love with them.

Uk: "Маланка" стала особливим днем, днем, який приносить щастя і любов у серця всіх, хто присутній. І не була важливою наявність подарунків чи ні, бо серця наповнені радістю і Всеосяжної любові, яка була кращим подарунком за всі.
En: "Malanka" became a special day, a day that brings happiness and love to the hearts of all those present. And the presence of gifts was not important, because hearts were filled with joy and Universal love, which was the best gift of all.
