Ca: Havia un noi anomenat Martí, viu i valent, que deambulava per les terres de Barcelona.
En: There was a boy named Martí, lively and brave, who wandered the lands of Barcelona.

Ca: Un dia, mentre passejava pel laberint de carrers estrets del Barri Gòtic, amb un mapa antic i uns ulls plens de sorpresa, es va perdre.
En: One day, while strolling through the maze of narrow streets in the Gothic Quarter, with an old map and eyes full of surprise, he got lost.

Ca: No importava quina volta prengués, totes li semblaven iguals.
En: No matter which turn he took, they all seemed the same to him.

Ca: Cada racó del carrer esclatava amb la bellesa de l'antiga arquitectura gotica.
En: Every corner of the street burst with the beauty of the ancient Gothic architecture.

Ca: Els balcons de ferro forjat, les parets de pedra desgastades pel temps.
En: The wrought-iron balconies, the stone walls weathered by time.

Ca: Martí estava eufòric, però tambe confós.
En: Martí was exhilarated, but also confused.

Ca: D'un cop, una porta oberta va cridar la seva atenció.
En: Suddenly, an open door caught his attention.

Ca: Una aroma embriagadora esbroncava en l'aire.

Ca: Dins, les ampolles llampants estaven alineades en estanteries de fusta, és a dir, un tast de vins local.
En: Inside, the gleaming bottles were lined up on wooden shelves, that is, a local wine tasting.

Ca: Va intentar comunicar-se amb les poques paraules de català que sabia, però va resultar inútil.
En: He tried to communicate with the few Catalan words he knew, but it was futile.

Ca: Els locals estaven intrigats, però amablement van intentar ajudà-lo a trobar el seu camí.
En: The locals were intrigued, but kindly tried to help him find his way.

Ca: Una dona asseguda al bar, amb cabells com la nit i ulls com a olives li va oferir un vi amb la promesa que l'ajudaria a trobar el camí a casa.
En: A woman sitting at the bar, with hair like the night and eyes like olives, offered him a wine with the promise of helping him find his way home.

Ca: Martí, intrigat, va acceptar la copa de vi.
En: Martí, intrigued, accepted the glass of wine.

Ca: Aquell vi era diferent de qualsevol altre que hagués provat, ric i profund, amb indrets de fruita i especies.
En: That wine was unlike any other he had tried before, rich and deep, with hints of fruit and spices.

Ca: Va omplir el paladar de Martí amb un gust que no oblidaria mai.
En: It filled Martí's palate with a taste he would never forget.

Ca: Amb cada glopada, es va sentir cada cop més relaxat.
En: With each sip, he felt more and more relaxed.
