Story Transcript:

Ca: Laia era una turista que visitava Barcelona per primer cop.
En: Laia was a tourist visiting Barcelona for the first time.

Ca: Estava emocionada per tastar la famosa paella catalana, així que va sortir a buscar un restaurant recomanat.
En: She was excited to try the famous Catalan paella, so she went out to find a recommended restaurant.

Ca: Amb el mapa a la mà, va caminar pels estrets carrers de Barcelona, perdent-se amb cada gir.
En: With the map in hand, he walked through the narrow streets of Barcelona, getting lost at every turn.

Ca: Després de caminar durant una estona, Laia va veure una senyal pintoresca que indiquava "Restaurante Flamenco".
En: After walking for a while, Laia saw a picturesque sign that read "Flamenco Restaurant".

Ca: Intrigada, va decidir entrar, pensant que podria estar connectat amb la cultura catalana.
En: Intrigued, she decided to enter, thinking that she might be connected to Catalan culture.

Ca: Però en entrar, es va adonar que la música i el xivarri no recordaven en absolut la paella.

Ca: Laia va entrar per equivocació en una sala amb miralls a les parets i una mestra de ball flamenc que donava instruccions a un grup de persones.

Ca: Ella es va quedar clavada en el lloc, intentant trobar una manera de sortir sense ser vista.

Ca: "Vinga, vinga!

Ca: Estem aprenent a ballar el flamenc".

Ca: Tímida i confusa, Laia va temptejar d'acceptar l'oferta.
En: Shy and confused, Laia tried to accept the offer.

Ca: Va pensar que això podria ser una experiència divertida i una manera interessant de conèixer gent nova.
En: He thought this could be a fun experience and an interesting way to meet new people.

Ca: Així que es va unir al grup i va intentar aprendre els passos de ball.

Ca: Encara que al principi va ser una mica desastrada, Laia va aconseguir moure's al ritme de la música i seguir les instruccions de la mestra.

Ca: Poc a poc, va guanyar confiança i fins i tot va començar a gaudir del ball flamenc.

Ca: Després d'una estona, el grup va fer una petita pausa i Laia va aprofitar per presentar-se als altres participants.
En: After a while, the group took a short break and Laia took the opportunity to introduce herself to the other participants.

Ca: Es va fer amiga de dues noies locals, l'Anna i la Carla, que la van ajudar a millorar les seves habilitats de ball i la van convidar a continuar amb ells després de la classe.
En: She befriended two local girls, Anna and Carla, who helped her improve her dancing skills and invited her to continue with them after class.

Ca: Van acabar ballant fins a la nit en una plaça del casc antic de Barcelona, amb els bells sons del flamenc omplint l'aire.

Ca: Laia va oblidar completament la seva cerca de la paella catalana, ja que va descobrir una nova passió amb el ball flamenc i va fer nous amics que la van fer sentir com a casa.
