What if you were on the receiving end of being pulled into else's distorted reality constantly with every lie after lie they told you with no remorse of others being hurt? Maybe you have experienced this. If so, then you have been a victim of a person with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).
In this episode, Marie Shukaitis was married countless years to someone who had NPD. Her intimate involvement with husband revealed the dangerous side of it and it was concerning that she was a professional in the field and couldn’t see it before the emotional damage it caused her. She describes this mental illness as total destruction waiting to happen. She wants to help empower others in a similar position to have early recognition and to escape. Marie goes as far as to go on record to mention potential narcissistic traits President Donald Trump often displays in public. Her second book was written because it marks return back to normalcy once she describes what seems to be divine intervention to help discover the international adoption program.
