When you accepted Jesus, you were transferred from darkness to light, from bondage to freedom. But this freedom is not a license to live carelessly—it’s an invitation to walk in holiness and obedience. The more you yield to God, the freer you become. Independence from sin is not about striving in your own strength, but relying on the Spirit to empower your daily choices.

So when temptation comes knocking, remember: you owe nothing to your old life. You are a new creation, empowered to live above sin and reflect the righteousness of Christ.

Today, ask yourself: Am I truly walking in the freedom Christ purchased for me, or am I still bound by habits He has already broken?
