Jelani Day went missing the morning of August 24th, 2021. He was seen on the campus of Illinois State University at 7:20am, where he was currently enrolled as a grad student. He is seen on camera going into a dispensary around 9:15 that same morning and then just…. nothing. When his car is found but no Jelani. His family fears the worst, and those fears are made real on September 23rd when law enforcement confirm a body found in the river was that of Jelani.
