Avoiding Fear creates what we Fear the Most. Many believe that all human behaviour is motivated either by fear or desire. As I've said previously, I believe that fear and desire are almost always related. With almost every fear, there is an implied desire.
Attached to virtually every desire there is an associated fear. I believe that until we name the associated fear and make peace with it, we never achieve what we desire in a sustainable way.
Often, when it's unnamed, fear actually causes us to create what we fear. The truth is that over attachment to any end, whether it's getting what we desire or avoiding what we fear, takes us from a place of spirit where we live consciously and are able to open ourselves to new possibilities. Either fear or desire can cause us to leave "our river of peace".
