Story Transcript:

Ca: A la cuina de la casa dels avis, Martí, Laia i Arnau estaven intentant cuinar una truita espanyola.
En: In the kitchen of the grandparents' house, Martí, Laia and Arnau were trying to cook a Spanish omelette.

Ca: Era el primer intent d'Arnau, però la seva àvia era una crítica experta i estaven nerviosos de trencar els ous davant d'ella.
En: It was Arnau's first attempt, but his grandmother was an expert critic and they were nervous about breaking the eggs in front of her.

Ca: Martí era el més experimentat a la cuina, per la qual cosa va ser el líder del grup.
En: Martí was the most experienced in the kitchen, so he was the leader of the group.

Ca: Va començar a trencar els ous amb prudència i a batre'ls suavement, mentre Laia i Arnau intentaven pelar les patates sense tallar-se.
En: He began to break the eggs carefully and beat them gently, while Laia and Arnau tried to peel the potatoes without cutting themselves.

Ca: Laia es va enganxar amb el seu ganivet de la mida d'un llombart i va cridar en veu alta.
En: Laia stuck with her lumbago-sized knife and screamed loudly.

Ca: L'àvia va entrar a la cuina per veure què passava.
En: Grandma went into the kitchen to see what was going on.

En: Seeing that Laia had cut her hand a little, the grandmother began to bellow and began to take care of her.

Ca: El saló es va omplir amb l'olor de les patates fregides, el que va atraure l'àvia a la cuina.
En: The living room was filled with the smell of French fries, which drew Grandma into the kitchen.

Ca: Laia i Arnau van veure que l'àvia estava observant la paella amb els ulls ben oberts.

Ca: Martí va afegir els ous i els va batre amb un batedor.

En: Everyone was happy to see the omelette nearing completion, but Arnau stepped forward to ask Grandma what was the best way to get the omelette out of the pan.

Ca: L'àvia li va respondre amb una mirada severa al seu rostre.
En: Grandma answered him with a stern look on her face.

En: However, she stepped forward to help them.

En: He took a plate and a spatula.

En: He placed the plate on top of the pan and in one quick movement turned the pan upside down to let the omelette fall onto the plate.

Ca: La truita va quedar en perfecte estat, i tots van aplaure la solució innovadora de l'àvia.
En: The omelet was in perfect condition, and everyone applauded the grandmother's innovative solution.

Ca: Van seure junts a la taula per menjar la truita i van estar sucosos i sublims.
En: They sat down at the table together to eat the omelette and it was juicy and sublime.

Ca: La cuina, al final, estava plena de profit els aromes i sabors de la truita espanyola.
En: The kitchen, in the end, was full of the aromas and flavors of the Spanish omelette.
