Members of the media (including Kevin and Ian) had a chance to tour Climate Pledge Arena yesterday, and it looks like the new building will be everything Oak View promised, and more. Greg Huber, Project Manger for Climate Pledge Arena at Mortenson Construction joins us to give an update on the progress of the new home of the Kraken. As happens every time the new building is brought up, commenters on Facebook blast the plans while lamenting Chris Hansen's failed attempt at a SoDo arena. Move on. The Hansen building was never going to get built, and this building is world class. We've got an NHL team and everything is in place for an NBA team, hopefully in just a few years. Let it go!
