In an apparent murder-suicide, a former Meta employee has been accused of killing his wife and twin sons before taking his own life, according to the police. The San Mateo Police Department discovered the bodies of Anand Henry, Alice Benziger, and their two children in their residence in San Mateo, Calif., after receiving a 911 call on Monday morning. Officer Jerami Surratt, who addressed the media, stated that the caller expressed concern as no one had been in contact with the family for some time.

The authorities believe that the incident took place on Saturday. Upon investigation, no signs of forced entry were found by the responding officers. The statement revealed that Henry and Benziger were discovered in the bathroom, having succumbed to gunshot wounds. The children were found deceased in the bedroom, but the exact cause of their deaths is yet to be determined. Police have confirmed that neither child suffered from gunshot wounds or displayed any signs of physical trauma. A handgun registered to Henry was discovered at the scene.
