Lv: Jūrmalas pludmales smiltis bija kļuvušas slapjas un smagas, jo vētras vēji dzītojās pāri jūras krastam.
En: The sands of Jūrmala beach had become wet and heavy because the storm winds raced across the sea shore.

Lv: Ūdens šķēlās pret akmeņiem, klusi dārdošos.
En: The water broke against the rocks, making a quiet rumble.
