Story Transcript:

He: בבוקר חם באוגוסט, שמש הזהב זרחה על קווי הרקיע של עיר ההייטק.
En: On a hot August morning, the golden sun shone on the skyline of the high-tech city.

He: העיר רוחה חיים והתרגשות עבודה.
En: The city was alive with the spirit of life and the excitement of work.

He: איתן עמד ליד החלון במשרדו בקומה ה-25.
En: Eitan stood by the window in his office on the 25th floor.

He: המחשבים סביבו זמזמו כשהוא בחן את הקוד על המסך.
En: The computers around him buzzed as he examined the code on the screen.

He: "זה הפרויקט הכי חשוב שלי," הוא חשב לעצמו.
En: "This is my most important project," he thought to himself.

He: "אבל מה עם אמית?
En: "But what about Amit?"

He: "איתן נסחף בעבודתו.
En: Eitan was absorbed in his work.

En: But while he was focused on work, at home, his wife Yael and his daughter Amit missed him.

He: אמית בת שמונה, נהנתה מהחופשה הגדולה ורצתה לבלות יותר זמן עם אבא שלה.
En: Amit, eight years old, was enjoying the summer vacation and wanted to spend more time with her dad.

He: "אבא, אני מופיעה בחג הקיץ השכונתי," היא אמרה לו ערב אחד.
En: "Dad, I'm performing at the neighborhood's summer festival," she told him one evening.

He: "אשתדל להיות שם," ענה והביט בעיינים העצובות של ביתו.

En: Yael sent a message: "Amit is starting to perform in an hour."

He: "איתן נשם עמוק.
En: Eitan took a deep breath.

He: איך יצליח להגיע בזמן?
En: How would he manage to arrive on time?

He: העבודה נעשתה חשובה כל כך.
En: The work had become so important.

He: אך לבו ידע את התשובה.
En: But his heart knew the answer.

En: "I have to go," he whispered to himself, as he hurried to gather his things.

En: He ran to the elevator, ran down the sidewalk, breathing the hot air.

He: הוא הגיע בדיוק בזמן כדי לראות את אמית עולה לבמה.
En: He arrived just in time to see Amit step onto the stage.

He: עיניה אורו כשראתה את אביה בקהל.
En: Her eyes lit up when she saw her father in the audience.

He: הוא חייך בגאווה, ומחא כפיים כשהיא רקדה בשמחה.
En: He smiled proudly and clapped as she danced joyfully.
