Tonight we have two amazing guests for you. Mark Hemmings and his daughter Aren, these two were recently part of the 24-hour run at Loonie Loops in late August. We met on the trial several times that day and chatted with each other. I was very surprised to find out this was a father and daughter-running duo. I was instantly impressed and thought that we had to get Mark and Aren on our show and here they are. Both signed up for the 24-hour run and as some of you know the conditions were not the best. That didn't deter either of them, they just kept at it. Listen to Aren talk about how this was her first podium finish and took first place. Great job Aren and an amazing story. Mark had an amazing day himself finishing with 26 laps for the run and his fastest lap was his final lap, amazing. Father and daughter were very determined and wouldn't stop in some of the worst conditions. What I like about this interview is the fact that both Aren and Mark loved their time on the trail at Loonie Loops and they can't wait to try again next year. Can't wait to see what next year brings.
