Feminism is advocating for women’s rights based on equality of the sexes. And that is exactly what I see natural family planning / fertility awareness as being. Women deserve to know about their bodies, to work with their bodies, and, when used for family planning, to work in equal cooperation with their spouse.

Women have been told birth control is their key to freedom. In reality, they have had that key within themselves all along. Every woman deserves to have the choice to use this information for family planning. Let’s usher in the next feminist wave.

Why wasn’t I told about my natural fertility signs when I learned about my menstrual cycle?
Why didn’t I learn about this in pharmacy school?
Why didn’t my OB/GYN physician educate me about all my options for family planning?

Every woman deserves to know how her body works and how to work with her body.
Every woman deserves to make a truly informed choice when it comes to family planning.
I’m asking every woman to stand up to help usher in this next feminist wave.
