It is a pleasure to welcome Blake's Buzz founder, Blake Morgan, to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
Blake owns and produces Blake's Buzz, a review outlet, podcast, and YouTube channel. For the last two years, he's been covering indie comics and interviewing their creators. Recently, he began working in comic book PR and marketing and helped numerous creators find their audience. Blake is taking on new clients and being the publicist for Invader Comics and Wolven Press. He is also the Marketing Manager at Metal Ninja Studios, a RINGO-nominated production company.
I was thrilled to meet with Blake in the VIP line at Planet Comicon 2023. We had lightning-in-a-bottle chemistry, and I truly enjoyed speaking with him about life in Kansas City and our love of comics.
In this edition of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Blake Morgan spoke about developing his brand and his conversations with iconic comic book creators David Mack (Daredevil interior artwork), Patrick Gleason (Batman & Robin, Green Lantern Corps, and The Amazing Spider-Man artist), and Paul Cornell (Action Comics, Captain Britain & MI: 13, Demon Knights, Doctor Who, and Wolverine writer).
