Th: วันหนึ่งที่ตลาดนัดจตุจักร สักดาและน้องลักษณ์เดินจับมือกันไปท่ามกลางผู้คนที่แสนวุ่นวาย
En: One day at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, Sakda and his younger sister Laksan walked hand in hand through the bustling crowd.

Th: อากาศร้อนจัดรายล้อมไปด้วยร้านค้าเล็กใหญ่เรียงราย
En: The hot air enveloped them, and the market was filled with all kinds of shops, big and small.

Th: นี่ น้องลักษณ์ ฉันจะพาเธอไปดูอะไรที่ฉลาดน่าดู
En: Here, Laksan, I'll take you to see something interesting,

Th: น้องลักษณ์เงยหน้าขึ้นแล้วค่อยๆ ปรากฏรอยยิ้ม นั่นมันทุเรียนนะ
En: Laksan looked up and smiled, That's a durian,

Th: เธอตอบด้วยเสียงหัวเราะเบาๆ แต่สักดาไม่ได้ยินเธอ
En: she answered with a light laugh, but Sakda didn't hear her.

Th: เขากำลังมองผลไม้น้ำหนักหนักมากๆ ที่มีหนามแหลมคม
En: He was staring at the heavy, sharp-spiked fruit.

Th: ทุเรียนไม่ใช่ นี่ต้องเป็น...เป็นฟรุ้ตต่างดาว!
En: It's not a durian, it must be... a starfruit!

Th: เขากรีดร้องออกมา แล้วสักดาก็วิ่งหนีทันที เหมือนกับว่าเขากำลังหนีจากสัตว์ประหลาด
En: He shouted and then immediately ran away, as if he were fleeing from a wild animal.

Th: น้องลักษณ์ยืนขำจนน้ำตาไหล หัวเราะอย่างเต็มที่ขณะที่เธอเรียกเขากลับมา
En: Laksan stood there, laughing until tears ran down her face, calling him back,

Th: สักดา กลับมาสิ! มันแค่ทุเรียนจริงๆ น่า!
En: Sakda, come back! It's just a durian, really!

Th: ในที่สุดสักดาก็หยุดวิ่งและหันกลับมาดูน้องลักษณ์ที่ยังคงหัวเราะอยู่
En: Eventually, Sakda stopped running and turned back to see Laksan still laughing.

Th: แล้วเขาก็เริ่มยิ้มอย่างอายๆ รู้สึกโง่เขลาที่เข้าใจผิด
En: Then he started to smile awkwardly, feeling foolish for misunderstanding.

Th: อ๋อ ทุเรียนสินะ
En: Oh, it's a durian,

Th: สักดากล่าวขณะที่เขากลับมาหาน้องลักษณ์
En: Sakda said as he went back to Laksan.

Th: ขอโทษที ฉันคงดูเป็นคนขี้กลัว
En: Sorry, I guess I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat.

En: Laksan continued to laugh.
