Dirk Foster is a professionally trained and certified addiction recovery coach and life coach who lives in Truckee, CA, near Lake Tahoe.

As a Sober Life Coach, Dirk specializes in building sober, confident men and women in early recovery.

In addition to his training and certification, Dirk is the author of six books about addiction. He is also the founder of the Sober Journey Facebook group. Equally important, Dirk is
a recovering alcoholic and addict with 13 years of successful sobriety.

Before getting sober, Dirk was unemployed, broke, and struggling with depression and chronic health problems. Since getting sober in 2007, Dirk has regained his health, gotten married, launched two companies, purchased a home, written six books about addiction, and helped many people in recovery.
