mostra di piùHello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:
Today’s quote is from Rosalynn Carter, and it is: A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don’t want to go but ought to be.
Leading People for Good
There is undoubtedly a difference between a leader and a great leader. The position of leadership on its own has a certain amount of authority that comes with it. Because of this, a leader can lead people to a goal or destination which they already desire to go based on self-interest. On the other hand, it requires a great leader to lead people to reach new heights and go to places uncomfortable for them. Most people are resistant to venture outside of their comfort zone, even for their good. A skillful and effective leader can instill confidence and courage into a person by walking beside them, encouraging them, and assisting them through the difficult areas of the path. A great leader has the vision to move forward towards the goal, not only for themselves and the organization but also for each team member. It is required of a great leader to stretch their team to reach their individual God-given abilities. May God’s grace fill you so that you can be a great leader.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’
