Darren has been working in the Vancouver Film Industry one way or another since
1992. In 2000 Darren chose to attend the Vancouver Film School where his studies were
focused on Writing and Producing. He graduated just in time for a writer’s strike! At this
time, Darren took a senior position in the Hospitality Industry running conventions and
trade shows while writing in his free time.
Always looking to become a better writer, Darren has taken classes like Robert
McKee’s Story seminar and Stand-Up Comedy classes. All the world is a stage! Even the
blank page! Currently, he works part-time as a Location Liaison which provides him the time to
focus on his Spec Screenplays.
