Ja: 東京の賑やかな街で、ユキはかご一杯の楽しみを求めて駆け抜けていました。
En: In the lively streets of Tokyo, Yuki was running around in search of a basket full of excitement.

Ja: その日、彼女が参加する予定の大規模なコスプレイベントが開催されていたのです。
En: That day, a large cosplay event she was planning to participate in was taking place.

Ja: しかしユキはある大きな誤解をしていました。
En: However, Yuki had a big misunderstanding.

Ja: 彼女は、「伝統的な日本の衣装で参加すべし」という情報を「伝統的な和服で参加すべし」と誤解していたのです。
En: She had mistaken the information "should participate in a traditional Japanese outfit" as "should participate in a traditional kimono."

Ja: ユキは、かつておばあさんが着ていた色鮮やかな着物を引っ張り出し、ほこりを拭きながら着こなしました。
